Oh to lounge in the hammock all afternoon.
Oh the glory of these unrushed moments. When the most pressing priority is simply being together.
Rest and refreshment are often desperately needed during the seasons that are not easily conductive to such lavish moments as spending hours basking in the hammock all afternoon.
The days are long, bet they are in your world too.
I feed roughly 100 mouths before my own every morning.
Surprise hurdles come up most dawns- frozen animal water, a dead quail, a mischievous Logan…typically we have a full action packed day before my half-a-coffee is even finished.
We are so blessed by the decisions we have been empowered to make. We are so grateful to be able to put in the work to make our big dreams come to life. As long and full as the days are, they are also what gives us energy to continue on. The daily demands on our time and energy truly are all a labor of love- tiring and never ending, sure, but joy-filled and the source of our energy to continue on.
And there is truly nothing like quality time snuggling in the hammock together after a full day of tending to this home and the animals under our care.
