Our culinary interest spikes when the homegrown food starts to come in! This entirely homegrown (pesticide free I might add) little harvest made for an excellent bruschetta snack. I bet it half the flavor was just the satisfaction of knowing it was entirely homegrown and healthy.
We love these simple joys. Cooking together is fun enough on its own, and doubly special when you take plants from sprouting and planting, weeding and watering, to their final joy- eating!
No wonder it’s so satisfying- Solomon knew it too, that taking pride in your work and enjoying good food is a blessing from God. At our little corner of the world, we would heartily agree.
